Seed library at Arab Public Library: Check out seeds, grow, harvest, return. Located in Special Collections Room.

The Seed Library is a free program committed to increasing our ability to feed ourselves wholesome food by offering seeds and education opportunities. See the front desk to get a membership form.  Members must be 16 years old or older. You may check out 5 packets per planting season.  To keep the library self-sustaining, we just ask that you remember us at harvest time and return seeds to the library.  If you are unable to save your own seed, please consider donating a packet or two of fresh, commercially grown, open-pollinated (non-hybrid, non-GMO, and untreated) seed to keep our library stocked, or you can make a monetary donation.
